Location
The location of your picture is very imprtant, popular places are above the fireplace or in the bedroom or hallways, you need to know where any pictures will go before you come to the viewing.
Wall Space and Frame Size
Before you choose a size for your frame or canvas, it is always good to check it fits nicely into the space you have chosen for it, the frame should be in proportion to the space it needs to fill.
Colours
The colours you wear in your shoot are very important, you need to correlate with eachother as well as with the room you have chosen for your portrait, make sure the colours in the room and the colours you are wearing go well together and don't clash.
