To get that drop-dead gorgeous shot, a little preparation goes a long way. Start by leafing through a few glossy magazines or going on line and getting a collection of images that you love. This will show us exactly what direction you want your shoot to go.
Think about the styles you like, the colours you want to use, the mood you want to evoke. We can help you interpret your tear sheets in a way that works for your look, your figure, your personality.
What should I wear?
With an image in mind, sort out the clothes and accessories that will help us create it.
There will be time for several clothing changes, and each outfit can represent a different mood or style. Don’t forget to include shoes, belts, handbags or jewellery that will help to complete your look.
Please DO NOT use spray tan in the 5 days leading up to your session.
The Fashion Makeover Experience
We’ll give you a call a few days before your shoot to make sure you’re happy and to answer any last-minute questions, but you can call the studio any time you like before or after your session.
There will be plenty of time to talk us through your tear sheets on the day and we can give you a few ideas too. Our professional stylist will do your hair and make-up to complement your chosen styles. This may take up to an hour. She also be around throughout your shoot if you want to make any outfit changes and to make sure your make-up stays looking pristine.
We will take as many pictures in as many styles as we can to give you a fantastic choice of finished images. Your complete shoot from arrival to finish may take up to four hours or more.
And most important of all…
Your photo shoot is all about you – it’s a chance to have some fun. Our friendly team are great at putting people at ease – and the more you relax, the more natural the finished portrait will be.
